Troop One's High Adventure Team hiked 50 miles across the Desolation Wilderness. The adventure included crossing the Rubicon River 8 times. Fighting off ravenous mosquitos. Climbing the peaks of Mt. Talac and Mt. Ralston. Blisters, rain, little critters, marshes, and hard terrain were but the seasoning of a well executed plan to live and travel and thrive in the Sierras. Congratulations 50 milers.
On June 29, 2009 Troop One's High Adventure Team started a 50 mile trek at Loon Lake. On July 4 they finished at Ralston Trailhead near Camp Sacramento.
